She is even happy to take these into school and peel for herself as they are easy enough for her to do. I realise this should not be so momentous for a 15 year old but after all the trials and tribulations we have battled with then every new food is a win.
Having these now regularly in our food basket is a total victory.

Soft, juicy, seedless and with the right balance of sweetness and tartness – they’re just like the ones we used to get as kids, that are all too rare nowadays.
And of course they’re now out of stock, probably never to be seen again. :o(

The first time, the “sell-by” expiry date was within 4 days. Luckily, after storing them immediately in the refrigerator, I was able to make that order last almost 4 weeks🤞–although they became noticeably less juicy with thinner skins. The second time, 3 bags in all–including replacement for preferred Sweet Clementines Easy-Peelers that sold out by 07:00 (within an hour of release)😒–I received 3 bags of these Satsuma oranges, expected to eat them all within 2 days!😲
Competitors like Sainsbury’s would start reducing these in-store. But it seems, Morrison’s showed no shame in actually increasing the price from a short-lived (2 days) £1.00 clearance price to £1.40. But they were still palming off their rapidly expiring fruit on unsuspecting online customers!😠 Given that these were unrefrigerated in their store/warehouse, I doubt they’ll last as long as the prior order.😟 What a disappointing waste!😞
NB: The packers can only select from what they have or are “ordered” to pack. I don’t fault the packer, rather Morrison’s management for an obvious policy of “dumping” soon-to-expire unsaleable produce through their Amazon channel.😠
